When you login to this website, you will automatically create a client account and gain access to a client portal unique to your church.
Upon login, the "Client Portal" tab on the GenEvange website menu will
display submenu. Simply click the tab and you will be in your portal. This portal is unique for every church,
and will contain all relevant forms, questionaires and upload
proceedures. No other church can view your portal, and similarly you do
not have access to any other client portal. You will be able to view
the progress of your job simply by visiting the portal at any time.
There is no obligation associated with setting up a Client Portal - you
may do so at any time without any sort of financial or workorder
commitment. Click here to login and go directly to the Websites tab in your Client Portal when you are ready to proceed.
Before you decide to use GenEvange for your website development, visit our Web Philosophy page to gain an understanding of our evolutionary approach for churches. It you prefer a more detailed description of the differences between our custom and re-volution streams, visit the Website area of our Resource Centre. We have 3 hosting packages available depending on the level of involvement you want from us after your new website is launched. They are all described in detail on our Rates and Packages page. If you are selecting the re-volution stream, look through our Website Gallery to determine which of the available sites is most suitable for your church.
Once you have selected your package, we'll ask you to answer questions
in a creative brief that helps us understand you, your church, and your website preferences. This brief is specifically designed to help us narrow
in on the ideal direction for your church. Website creative brief will guide you through the various technological functions that are available, and ask you to select and prioritize the pages and information you would like presented on your website. We've constructed this in simple checklist form to make things easy to understand. Remember, with a re-volution site you can change this content at any time at no additional cost. We just like to get a good starting place.
When you have completed the brief in your client portal, click
the "submit" button at the bottom of the form. An invoice will be
automatically generated and emailed within 24 hours directly to your
specified address. Receipt of deposit initiates the job on our end, at
which time a project coordinator will be assigned directly to your
church. It generally takes approximately 3 weeks from the completion of Step 5 to a finished, live site. Terms are always 50% up front, and 50% upon completion.
The Client Portal contains a check list of possible pages, and also an area to enter copy for these pages. You will have full control of the copy, to edit, add or delete as you see fit, once the website is live. We like to set things up for you the first time as the process usually uncovers some design issues that will need to be solved on our end before the site can go live.
With our Content Management System it is very easy to keep dynamic control of your website. We have made it even easier by creating a set of short training videos for each of the eVolution designs. These training videos are available in our Resource Center upon login to our website. They will provide comprehensive and clear instruction on all the primary managment tools available to you, including how to change and edit content, size and insert photos, add events, change banners and much more.
Publishing your new eVolution site on the web should not be considered an end point of this process, but a beginning. There is a difference between taking a website "live" and keeping it "living". Make sure you're maintaining news, blog, events and other updatable elements, and we'll do our part by keeping the sty;e and function of your site at state-of-the-art levels. Your website should be an enjoyable process, and we're happy to share in it with you.
